So in updating the whole families iPhones last night I have inadvertently MERGED all of our contacts list - so we now have over a thousand contacts some of which are repeats. How do I go in and delete a whole phones contacts in the merged cloud contact list - and how do I restore a phone to its original contacts list??

HELP!!!

Thanks!!

How are they all merged? Are all of your families devices using the same iCloud account? If so, that's your problem. Each person needs their own account. If you delete any of the contacts, they will also be deleted from iCloud.

For instance, this morning I noticed a couple of dupes and deleted one. Both disappeared. I'm not sure if it was just a hiccup with iCloud or not, but it's something to think about.
