Hello All.

I recently added some songs to my iTunes library and went over the 25k limit for iTunes Match. So I deleted some songs from my collection so that I have 24666 songs but every time I update iTunes Match it still says I am over the 25000 song limit.

I tried updating iTunes Match, Genius, signing out and in again with my Apple ID and turning iTunes Match off and on again - same error.

How can I resolve it?

Thanks.

I solved it.

I made another library with just iTunes Match songs and it was over the limited so I deleted some and went back to my original library, updated iTunes Match and it was fine.

Im now over the 25,000 limit and it keep reminding me.
Im thinking about getting a cheap 500gb drive to back up my music rather than iTunes match. I have been using it back up my music rather than a source for other computers.

25k songs is not enough. I'd prefer a 50k limit, but I'm not sure why the 25k limit exists in the first place, especially when Amazon has a 250,000 limit.

I use two computers. Making sure the tracks are on the eMac I delete them from the laptop. Instantly the little cloud with an X in it shows up in the cloud status.
Pretty simple but...

Is there a way to just say remove from the cloud without having to go through this process? That would be the easiest way.

The 25k track limit is the only real downside to an otherwise great service.

I agree, and I wish it had a counter so I know I am near my limit. Trying to figure out how much I have and then subtract the ones I bought from iTunes isn't a fun way
