iPod How to delete podcasts automatically? Driving me crazy...

Hi All,

I'm having major problems deleting my podcasts. I've set itunes to keep the most recent podcast and download the most recent podcast as well. For some reason though it does not seem to delete the previous episodes and just keeps downloading new ones. Not sure why it's doing this but it's driving me crazy...please help.

I'm running win7 rc1, itunes v.9.0.1 on a HP dv2000 laptop. I also have an iphone and sync my podcasts so I'm not sure if that is somehow causing the problem.
Any help would be appreciated.

go to the podcast tab in iTunes, and select settings on the bottom left. Then you can select the "Episodes to keep". For example, if you want them to be deleted after they've been watched, select "all unplayed episodes".
