I was just messing with my iPhone and accidentally swiped across a Video Podcast and it gave me the option to delete it the same way it gives an option to delete and email or text. I had no idea you could do this!! Not sure if its the result of installing and app from Installer but this is news to me!

So that is what they did with the annoying "do you want to delete this video" message! Neat didn't know that.

That's mentioned in the iPhone User Guide. The manual is kinda long - you might want to read thru it to make sure you know all that the iPhone can/can't do. For example, did you know you can view an Excel file with the iPhone? Email one to yourself and see.

You know what is sad? I have the 1.1.3 user guide, but never looked at it. I guess I should read it.

I use this all the time, but I wish that it also worked for audio podcasts as I end up having a list of ones I've listened to and want to delete.

I wish there was some way that deleting on the phone marked it for deletion on the computer when you sync though, as it will just throw it back on unless you remember to cull the unwanted podcasts/videos before you sync.

I agree! I don't like having to figure out which ones that I want to delete after I've already deleted them on the phone.

This one is a pretty easy fix. You can go into your preferences on iTunes and select the podcast tab. There are options there that will automatically delete podcasts from your iPhone and computer. Mine is set to only keep the 3 most recent and to delete anything older. Also, everytime I sync, it automatically pulls of those that I have listened too. This setting is located after you plug your iPhone in and go to the podcast tab to set up your preferences. The only thing you can't do is delete audio podcasts on the iPhone, but you can set it up to take care of business when you sync.
