How to disable NumberShare for AWS4 on Verizon?

Ok, somebody help me out here. I'm coming up empty and frustrated when trying to disconnect the cellular service on my Apple Watch Series 4 from Verizon. The "Turn off NumberShare for this device" option mentioned on this page doesn't seem to exist in my Verizon app. And the full desktop website isn't getting me any closer.

Has anyone been through this and could ya lend some guidance?

That page specifically says:

• You cannot turn off NumberShare on an Apple® Watch; it must be disconnected or paired with another compatible iPhone.

Have you just tried calling Verizon?
