Im trying to download a song... the link is like this... ftp://<url>/<filename>.mp3. On my PC it would allow me to download, on my Mac it starts up Quicktime as if it was a webpage and starts playing whatever it has downloaded!

At the very least, how do I download the song itself? I was looking where FireFox stores all the caches, but I couldnt find it. Maybe someone can tell me where that is?

Gah! Plymouth
right click on the link on a page then go to download linked file.

or if you have quicktime pro (i believe only pro can do this) the little arrow on the right hand side, click it then go to download.

Also if you want to be adventerous, you can go and try and find the cached file on your HD
