Hello everyone, on my iPhone, how can I disable resting energy measurement? This resting energy can be found as follows -

Settings - Health Data ---> Data access and devices ---> devices ---> Resting energy.

  1. On my iPhone I don't have a medical ID set up to use this iPhone for Airplay at home only.
  2. My Apple Watch is also not paired to this iPhone.
  3. Motion and Fitness tracking is also turned off.
  4. Headphones Measure levels - turned off.
Does this resting energy measurement have an effect on battery life?

Kindly see this video.

Resting Energy is measured alongside other metrics while you are using device. Disabling it won’t improve battery life in any meaningful way.

There should be a way able to disable it. Especially if we didn’t initiate it or are using any health or fitness tracking.
