I know IntelliscreenX has an option for this but I'm looking for an alternative method without needing IntelliscreenX. More detail of my request is if you receive an email and the phone is off, and you slide to unlock it will unlock to the mail app. This works for any app that you receive a notification for on the Lockscreen. I know you can hit the sleep/power button to turn screen off and then back on and you can unlock normal without it opening that specific app, but I'd like to be able to slide to unlock immediately without needing to hit the sleep/power button twice. I hope this makes sense. I searched the forums and google and cannot find anything for this. That's my favorite feature of IntelliscreenX but I don't need/want all of the other options IntelliscreenX offers because I use Bulletin because I like the Banner X close box option. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I know my way around iFile so if there is a way to change certain strings that works too. Thank you in advance for any help.

Mail app was just an example. I want lockscreen notifications. For example, I get a text or email asking me if I am available for lunch on a specific date, I don't want to reply immediately, instead I want to unlock my phone and open my calendar and see if I am available that specific date. Then respond to the text/email with an answer. Currently, if my phone screen is off and I receive a text, I cannot just slide to unlock and go to calendar because it will open my SMS app to reply to the message. So my choices are wait for the screen to automatically dim itself or tap the Sleep/power button twice. Now I can slide to unlock and go to calendar. Hope this makes more sense.

according to me If you tend to get a lot of mail, the Gmail app could wake frequently to display the notifications on the Lock Screen (and affect battery life). To help save on battery life, you can disable "View in Lock Screen".

This is exactly what I do. I only have texts, phone calls, and severe weather alerts appear on my lockscreen. Everything else I just have go straight to the NC. Plus now that springtomize allows the NC on the lockscreen, it makes all the more sense for me to do this instead of having my lockscreen backlight turn on after every single notification.

Unfold does this, but you may not want the animation of folding your lockscreen. Also it'll disable the slider themes.
