Holy Jeebus I am pissed atm...

Ordered a portfolio/photobook from Blurb as to send it to clients.

After ordering realized that it came in a UTTERLY useless .epub
format...
In short...as some of the clients dont have iPads or iPhones (or dont want to tinker with dragging the file to itunes, and syncing their devices after that, and...) I need to convert the .epub file to a viewable .PDF that every computer/phone/whatever could open.

Tried allready about 10 web based converters and none of the work : they misread the spread shots (puts them on different pages), resize the pics to tiny thumbnails etc... So in short, none of those work.

Is there any way around this? What program could do it?

And WHY ON EARTH CANT YOU READ .ePUBs WITH YOUR COMPUTER!!!????

For.gods.sake.

Honestly? There is not even decent 3rd party programs for that, let alone apple would have a native iBOOK[/i] application!!!!!

Adobe has a free software for reading .epub file. It'S call Adobe Digital edition.

Also, you can download the free software « Calibre » for reading .epub file.

Hope that helps.

Try iText Express, it does exactly what you want and it's free. I use it all the time for exactly the same thing you need it for.

Open .epub document > Print > Save as PDF
