Hey...

I would like to be able to use some Windows apps now and then but after having tried to study up on Windows on Macs I'm pretty much still clueless about what to do or think...

I think I would prefer a VM over bootcamp because it's just little things and I have no 3D requirements! But what's the difference between Parallels and VMWare?

And how do I install windows? Will I have to make a partition and if so what will happen to the partition already in use for Mac OS X? Will I have to do a new install of Mac OS X?

:confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

Also what kind of windows would you recomment? I was thinking XP but then I realized that there is a home and a proffessional version - and I've got no clue about what the difference is...?

well, obviously you need to check the manual of the Fusion or parallels, it should not be that difficult.

Fusion seems better, offers some 3D function, cheaper ($39 now after $20 rebate).

There is very few difference between home and professional versions of Windows XP (you can search wikipedia.com if you need detailed lists), you can just pick whichever is cheaper.
