Can someone please tell me how to download a folder from Google Drive in to the Files APP on the iPad. When I go to the files APP and from there I go to my Google drive and select the folder, I do not get any option to download it in the Files APP the options that I get is duplicate, move, delete, more and none of these give me an option to download the folder in to the Files APP? So what is the work around ? Can it be done ?

Well the answer lies in your question. You can copy or move the folder. If you want to make another copy locally or on iCloud Drive, select copy and it will bring up a menu to choose where to save the folder. Same if you wanted to move, it will delete the Google drive copy after moving it.
The files app is just a central location to access your files locally or on a cloud service or even an external usb drive. Think of it like the finder on Mac or file explorer on windows.

To me it does not give the option to save when I select the Folder. Can you please post a screenshot just to make sure I am not missing anything ?

Gives me the following option as seen in the attachment.

I was wrong, kind of. Nothing will show up when you select copy. Only move. Anyway. Once you select copy. Go to the folder you want to “download” into and press and hold a blank area of the folder and a menu will come up and have “paste”

This is all done through the files app.

When I try to select and the copy and then paste the folder in my desired location it is giving me this error.

Can you make it available offline?

PS: nevermind, I see this is just for files

What are the steps that you are following ? Can you tell that ?
I did both a copy and then paste, and drag and drop by opening 2 tabs of the files app. I got the same error a few times, and then tried again, and no issue. So not sure whats going on.
