I would like to download or screen record a video from finance.yahoo.com
I tried it with Quick Time Player and Boom 2, with this combination I can screen record and use the system audio. However, the recording stops after two hours (the length is over five) and the file is huge (but I still have space left, so that cannot be the reason for the stopping).
I suppose, a way to directly download the file instead of screen recording it would be better.
Does anyone know how I can do that?

I installed the VideoDownload helper. It does detect the video, but then it says that I need to install an additional program, the companion app ( https://www.downloadhelper.net/install-coapp?browser=firefox ). When I download it and drag it to the application folder and open it with alt (double click doesn't work since apple doesn't like it), nothing happens. Do you know what I have to do?

You don't open it, VideoDownload will do it automatically, you have it written here:
