I have a work iPhone and a personal iPhone, I sign into the same Apple ID. If someone calls me when I'm on the same wifi they both ring, and when I get text messages on both phones even when I'm not on wifi.

Is it possible to have both phones ring if I'm NOT on the same wifi? This would enable me to leave the house and not carry two phones.

(Dual sim is not an option as both phones are locked to provider a different provider)

I have the same set up 2 iphones same apple ID, I just forward my personal phone to my work phone most of the time and when I am not working I remove the forwarding on my personal iPhone

I have both phones set up to receive text messages (text forwarding) but not all email no work emails on my personal phone

I am not sure if there is a way to use wifi to automattically do this - I don't think so

The only issue is one of the lines is a Canadian Number and other is a US #.
I can't do call forwarding from a US Line to a Canadian Line...

My business phone is also mostly for USA calls - so I have a plan that covers calls for both countries on my business phone (my personal phone only covers Canada). Each phone are with seprarate canadian carriers

I am surprised the US carrier would limit call forwarding - but (my guess) - it's probably to limit costs and avoid huge charges on the transfer of calls to a carrier outside the USA?

Might be worth looking at having both phones on carriers in the same country - preferably the one you live in?

I don't have a US Carrier yet as I'm looking for one that supports call forwarding to a Canadian#. Can't find out yet.

Currently I only have a Canadian Carrier with Unlimited Canada & USA Roaming. I love this sim because it roams on ALL the us carriers and i always have signal. While with my US colleague depending on location verizon, t-mobile or AT&T is better. So when I'm driving coast to coast it's perfect. Hence I want to keep that line forever.

Now my issue is I need a US # since I'm technically living here (US 60/40 CAD) since my company HQ is in Canada.

Currently I have Twilio with my US# but it's not as easy to make calls and forward them.
