Is there any way to enable the Drag Lock feature using a Magic Trackpad 2? This is where you tap twice and hold the second time to drag an item, and then release the trackpad when you want to stop dragging. This is similar to double-clicking and then holding, but using taps instead of clicks. I really hope this can be done!

I haven't heard of drag lock support so far.

If I am understanding your needs correctly: Tap and hold with pointer finger, drag with thumb or middle finger.

Settings > Accessibility > Pointer Control > Double-Tap to Drag > Without Drag Lock

Seems to be working well on my new ipad (bought like a couple of days back).
