How to enable LTE on Google Nexus 4?

I heard that there was a way to enable LTE on the device. I would prefer not to root the phone because I'm not sure how that works but I found this video and was wondering if this would work with T-Mobile?

Try it and see if it works

That being said, the most recent update by Google disabled the unofficial LTE support. You have to root it, switch the kernel, and go down a software version (or custom ROM) to keep the LTE access permanent.

That's right. If you are on 4.2.2 this will no longer work.
