How to exit program own iPad with Universal Control

When your in the iPad screen how do you exit a program or switch program in universal control?

I'd normally just press the home button. You can still do that, but if your using a mouse, how do you replicate that with the mouse?

You touch the same controls that you would touch if you were using your finger. To go home, click on the bar at the bottom of the screen.
