I have an app that won’t open since update and is not in App Store any more. Try to contact developer some I can get my saved data out of it. Can somebody give me directions how to get the data or go back to earlier iOS without losing my stuff.

Connect your device to a computer with iTunes and see if you can transfer the data over through that method.

Unless the app itself has some form of data export function you likely can't get at it.

I would check to see if the data is saved to iCloud Drive or the On My iPad account. Go to Settings > this app, and look at whether there’s a saved data location you can pick. If there is one, open the Files app to see if there’s a folder either on iCloud Drive or On My iPad.

If there are data files available there, you may be able to share the file to a Mac by using AirDrop or emailing it to yourself. Even if all this is possible, opening a data file in TextEdit may not really give you the data in a form you’ll find useable.

Along the lines of iTunes, if you have a Mac, can look in Finder under the device's "Files" tab to see if anything stored there that can be drag & dropped from there.

Or something like iMazing to dig into an iTunes backup.

There are at least a dozen ways data can be associated with an app. Core data being the most prevalent. If the data was synced across devices, then iCloud could have been used. in any case it is going to be difficult to retrieve, if you don't see a folder in iTunes or iCloud. If you have an old device restore that device to a backup from iTunes, if you have it, to a version you know worked.

If you are still struggling after all of the great tips the users before I have given, contact an app development agency. I had a similar thing happen to me and went to https://www.appoly.co.uk/ they are a local agency to me and sorted my problem out asap.
