How do you find the correct spelling of an icon for an app store application?

Maybe try google. A lot of times it will correct you by suggesting spelling. Once suggested you could try looking it up in the app store.

Look in that app's directory for the info.plist file. It should have two lines like:

<key>CFBundleIconFile</key>
<string>icon.png</string>
