Ok, last week my 17" intel iMac decided to kill itself and now I have to package it up and let the nice people from Jigsaw systems take it away to fix it.

I feel really stupid because I have the original box but I have no idea how to fit the iMac in, as the two foam inserts have a groove that would seem to fit the iMac, but are too short and not directly adjacent.

Can anyone who's recently boxed (or unboxed) an iMac help me out?

Thanks!

My 17" box has three foam inserts. Two small, cubish ones and a long, rectangular one. The two small ones go at the bottom of the box and grab the corners of the iMac body, with the foot floating in between them. The third piece pops into the top surface of the iMac body and then the keyboard and mouse go on top of it.

Thank you!

Yeah, I had the three foam chunks too, I was just referring to the two that it actually sits in. That's what I was trying earlier, but it seems in the excitement of unpacking the iMac I rotated one of the foam chunks around so it was just wrong.

All sorted now, thank you so much, I can't wait till I get it back :(
