Hi all,

My s/o dropped something on her 2017 13" MacBook Pro and it appears that the backlight or something has been damaged. I consider myself pretty handy and have worked on many phones and computers before but never a portion of a display. I'm hoping to find out what needs replaced & how to find the parts.

Thanks in advance,

Hunter

It looks like a issue with the display itself rather than the backlight.

Whenever I have encountered a backlight issue, it revealed itself by showing a very dim screen.

Seems to be identical to this issue, however I cannot find the part(s) being spoke about sold anywhere.
