Hi all,
I have not used the Messages app for about a year because it started giving me problems, especially with group messages and syncing with my other iDevices. So, I have had it turned off. I just updated my computer (early 2011 MBP) to High Sierra, and I read that there are some improvements to iMessage with regards to syncing settings and data over iCloud, which I thought might alleviate some of the problems I was having. So I opened up Messenger to try to turn it back on, but it does not seem to want to do anything. It's just showing my messages from a year ago, and I try to open Preferences to log in again, but it just freezes up or doesn't open preferences at all. Any ideas on what I could do to "hard reset" the app and start fresh? I heard that there are preferences files that I can delete, but I'm not sure which ones to delete or where they are.
Thanks in advance!
