I was thinking why Apple released the last build (which was released as an update few days ago) in its Developer's site...I've decided to download it and then made a completely clean reinstall and voilá!!! No more those annoying askings to reload the pages! :p

The whole system!

I'm having this issue on a clean install on some machines, so this is not a solution for everyone. Glad it worked for you though.

yes...as a matter of fact I think I talk to early. I have less of this issue, nonetheless, I have them still. sorry...:(

I noticed this and quite honestly I find it to be a PITA to not have safari auto reloading the pages. I frequent forums and news sites and I find it much easier to browse when I go back and forward without having to manually reload every page to see updated content. (anyone know how to get the auto-reload feature back? And I don't mean the auto-reload safari plug-in because it runs off a reload timer, and doesn't activate upon navigation changes)

I have this problem as well, its annoying sometimes.. but I just ignore it..

Been using Chrome the past few days because of this, anxiously awaiting the next update

I've never understood why Safari is the browser of choice for some people. It's always been the worst of the browser bunch. It still is, and the new version in Lion won't do much about that either.

I choose to use Safari because it fits my needs just fine and is the most "mac like" browser out there. Chrome and Firefox are both adequate browsers too, but I just don't feel like I'm using a Mac when I use them. Chrome and Firefox also kick up my fan speeds and temps a lot higher and quicker than when I use Safari for some reason.

I was having problems with Safari beach balling upon startup in DP3, but later found out it was caused by the Tab Expose' plugin I had installed that got copied over from my Snow Leopard Safari setup. I removed the plugin and all is well with Safari again in Lion.
