Hi i just found a ATI x1900 XT and im running a 2008 mac pro 3,1 and when i plug the card into the machine the fans just spin crazy fast, my question is i wiped the OS X operating system of the machine and im running windows 7, is there a way i can flash this card though "windows 7" and get it to work on my mac pro so i can get the boot logo back and install OS X high sierra on the machine??

A 2008 Mac Pro won't natively run High Sierra without patches. The most up to date OS it will run is 10.11.6 (El Capitan). I'm guessing the X1900 XT isn't a Mac card?

If you're only running Windows at this point, you need to install the drivers for the card you're running for it to work properly.

the question im asking though is how do i flash the card as its an original Mac pro card from a 1,1 machine i also have a Gigabyte 9800 GTX card also but same thing i don't get a boot logo at all

Apple X1900XT have EFI32, MacPro3,1 on wards needs EFI64. I don't remember anyone doing a modded EFI64 for X1900XT like was done in reverse for EFI32 on 8800GT, maybe you could search and confirm my impression.
