How to force iPhone 3G activation so I get Push Notif?

Hi,

I have a iPhone 3G which was Jailbroken (redsn0w) and Unlocked (ultrasn0w).

I can't make Push Notification to work on this phone - although I made it work on my other 3GS (also jailbroken/unlocked)

I think that's because the 3GS WAS activated with ATT and
I don't know if the 3G was (as I purchased it from a friend of mine)....

So, how can I force the 3G to be (re)activated with ATT ?
ps: I do have a sim card that was used to activate another 3G iPhone...

Please anyone help me ?

Here's how to fix Push Notifications on jailbroken and unlocked devices since the jailbreaking process corrupts the necessary certificate files for the device to communicate with Apple's Push servers.

How can I be sure that my 3G WAS activated ?
Otherwise the steps indicated won't work

Mm well that tutorial requires you to get the original certificates off a legit iPhone / iPod touch. Nevermind, go download this file and follow the instructions. A nice person on another forum provided these cert files so you won't need another legit device.

Haha then get someone who is capable of doing this stuff. It's really not that difficult, and it's worth it. iPhone 3.0 without push notifications is just iPhone 2.0!
