Hi,

I have a iPhone 3G which was Jailbroken (redsn0w) and Unlocked (ultrasn0w).

I can't make Push Notification to work on this phone - although I made it work on my other 3GS (also jailbroken/unlocked)

I think that's because the 3GS WAS activated with ATT and
I don't know if the 3G was (as I purchased it from a friend of mine)....

So, how can I force the 3G to be (re)activated with ATT ?
ps: I do have a sim card that was used to activate another 3G iPhone...

Please anyone help me ?

quoting from the tutorial above :

"*You Must Perform These Steps On A Properly Activated Device (iphone or ipod touch) with at least one working push app*"

How can I be sure that my 3G WAS activated ?
Otherwise the steps indicated won't work :(

Isaac,

Thanks for the help...
Unfortunately, this tutorial is too technical for me....

thanks/anyway...

Haha then get someone who is capable of doing this stuff. It's really not that difficult, and it's worth it. iPhone 3.0 without push notifications is just iPhone 2.0!

Cheers
