Sometimes I get an iMessage (or text) from a friend or family member, and want to forward it to someone else. Is this possible in iOS 5? If so, how?

The old-fashioned way:

double-tap on message, copy, create new message, paste, send. Voilà! :D

Ha. Thanks for the tip. I didn't know that. Perhaps because I've never had to forward a text before. :eek:
