So by random luck I was on youtube and went to type “affinity” and as soon as I hit aff on my bluetooth keyboard the browser fullscreened and hid everything but the website. I had no idea this was possible. So I hit the X in the left corner and tried “ff” again and it fullscreened. I thought I learned how to do this but when I went to another site I couldnt do it anymore. I went back to youtube and same thing.

Now I am wondering how can I consistently do that? Since I use a keyboard and mouse, the ipad is a little bit farther away than normal so I would like that extra screen space for my content.

Not sure what you did or if it was a bug. Fullscreen (to my knowledge) only works for videos; and if you hold the Command button, you should see an overlay with shortcuts that are possible. Maybe it's because of the Bluetooth keyboard - it has perhaps a special function key for it that you can activate with a Function button?

Im not sure. I checked the command list and nothing was there for full screen. Online searches yielded no results either. I cannot replicate it so it must have been a bug...

just a random $20 one that i picked up in a shop in japan. Its nothing special
Yeah, maybe it has built in functions meant for other OSs, that's why I ask. Maybe a Fn or Ctrl or Cmd key got stuck and triggered said bug?

No idea. I cant for the life of me replicate this so I am just going to call it quits

I blame the keyboard. Cheap ones tend to work poorly.

Not quite full screen but you can minimise the search bar by dragging it up.
It remains small even when scrolling up until you touch it again.
