The 27" 5K iMac model late 2015 is specified to a max. RAM of 64 GB. Having 4 slots and needing DDR3, how can one get over 32 GB?
I never saw DDR3 modules over 8 GB that are not ECC.
Can this model accept memory from the world of servers? There 16 GB modules would not be rare. Or did indeed somebody produced DDR3 modules of 16 GB for it?

But wow, at that price one can buy a 2019 or 2020 and use DDR4.
I am sure that you can find it for cheaper, OWC isn't usually the cheapest.

Besides, a base model 27" 2019 or 2020 iMac is going to cost a lot more, while not performing a whole lot more than your 2015 iMac.

They are rare, indeed.
I found only 1 shop in my town offering the 16GB module of DDR3L 1600 SODIMM.
These are old RAM sticks salvaged from decommissioned workstation-type laptops.
They charge ~50$ per stick.
