So i sold my old Intel MBP and got the new M1 MBP. Little did I know the new MBP M1 does not support multiple displays, which is crazy restriction.

What are others using to get around this. I read there are some ways to buy a USB to HDMI? I currently own 2 of the Apple USB-C AV Multiport adapters, which I used w/ my old MBP. However only 1 will work on the new M1, not both.

Title should be corrected if only because the M1 Mac Mini **can** do two external displays.

It's the M1 MacBook Air & 2 port Pro (the only M1 Pro at this moment) that can't

DisplayLink works like a charm - M1 handles the CPU compression beautifully.

I don't know about "like a charm"
Lots of niggles reported in the comments on that video

To each their own.
Personally I'd wait for a machine that natively supports multiple external monitors if that were a mission critical feature to have.
