Download atomic web browser and then change setting to identify browser as safari or another browser type. Works great. Use 2 fingers to scroll down your list of friends in chat also.

Thinks for the tip, might use this for the ipad. For the iPhone I use an app called trillian that does facebook chat with push notifications. It's just not optimized for the iPad.
