iPod How to get ipod video back to automatic sync when connected from manual manage sync.

I want to use sound check that I did not have on when I moved 50 GB of music to my Ipod to use sound check on my Ipod.I was told if I enable sound check on Itunes and sound check on my Ipod and its set to automatic sync all I have to do is plug ipod into Imac and it will set up my songs in ipod to use sound check.
Problem is my ipod is set up to manual sync that i chose since all my music is already in it.Can i set it back to automatic sync option?

Well I figured out that you have to reset the Ipod to get it back loosing everything on it.Not really a big deal if its all stored in Itunes.Did it and now soundcheck works as it should.
