I found out how to get MMS working if you are getting the red exclamation point. Apparently when ATT removed the opt out code on iPhone accounts they skipped some accounts for one reason or another. Here is how to get it working again without calling or chatting with ATT.

Go here and register:
https://www.wireless.att.com/sson/registration

Once you register completely MMS will magically work.

Remember this only works if you are getting the red exclamation point when trying to send an MMS.

Good Luck.

Just an FYI... I was mms'ing yesterday fine with 5.0, I had installed the 5.1 hack previously which didnt work, reverted back to the 5.0 and it started working yesterday. Today after I installed the 5.5 icpp it started giving me the red exclamation mark failure. I turned mms off in settings, rebooted phone, turned it back on and now its working.. Just something to try if your having problems.
:D

Besides my 3GS which is running a real iPhone data plan, I have a 3G iPhone using a GoPhone sim. The MMS feature never did work on this account when using the iPhone. After registering on this site, it now works.

Thanks!
