How to get Mojave Gallery to be like Cover Flow?

I REALLY dislike the new Mojave Gallery view and found the 'old' Cover Flow to be far more functional and useful, since it still had a list view underneath and allowed the customization of different sorting methods. Is there any way to get the gallery view in Mojave to look like the old cover flow? Or is there another solution?
