How to get new 6S on OSX PB 9.1 so I can restore from my 6?

Just realized I can't restore (from iCloud) my new 6S (came with 9.0) because my 6 is on the PB 9.1 Beta 1. Ugh. I forget the process here. I need to upgrade the 6S to the Public Beta. Which is 9.1 Beta 2 now, complicating things worse. But I can handle that. I just need to upgrade my 6 to 9.1 Beta 2 and backup again. But how to get 6S to PB 9.1 Beta 2?

OK never mind I figured it out. For those in need of the same thing - go here on your phone: https://beta.apple.com/profile

You can download the Public Beta Profile there and after a reboot your Software Update section will show that 9.2 is ready to download.
 
Uhh. For starters we're on 9.1 beta 2. Secondly, you can always enroll @ beta.apple.com
And what error message do you encounter?

uhhh, that's what I meant. 9.1 Beta 2. Yea, yea. :D And "enrolling" seems like it would take time for apple to respond. Seems like that's what happened when I first signed up. I needed instant gratification. No waiting can be done on launch day. ;)
 
Haha. That's what enrolling is. You install a profile, reboot and your update is ready. ;) No waiting.
 
It's a good question though since many may be on 9.1 B1 and did a backup, and now are getting new 6s or 6s+..can one not simply run a restore to the phone the arrives?

What is the best way to get the new beta on a new fresh phone? setup as new, run the 9.1 download, then do a restore from an old phone?

  1. Set up as new
  2. Connect to wifi
  3. Enroll with the beta program and install the profile
  4. Reboot
  5. Run software update from the phone
