How to get the best Resolution for imac

Ive seen some guys post there displays(resolutions) for others to Download for there macbooks I was wondering if you guys had any set ups that really bring out the imacs display thanks.

all apple computers run at the maximum resolution that the monitor can do, why do you want to run it at a different res?

You have to pay Apple for telling you which is the best resolution Why don't you try the native resolution of your panel, that will be the best one, believe me.

iMac's max resolution is 1680 x 1050, I think.

They're posting their colour calibration settings, not resolutions. LCDs have a finite number of pixels and thus a fixed native resolution. It is this native resolution at which you should run your display.
