How to get the iBEC & iBSS with 3.0 (not 3.1)

Now that apple has decided to stop signing the 3.0 or 3.0.1 restore builds, How can I get the iBEC & iBSS files? I was surprised to see the message that the 3.0 build is not compatible for restore. Is there a workaround?

There is currently no way to obtain these files. A previously-jailbroken 3GS with its ECID SHSH on file on Saurik's server via Cydia can be downgraded by spoofing Apple's verification server; otherwise, you are out of luck.
