Hi all, I've just purchased and received my new 2008 Macpro. Yay! I just put Vista Premium on an identical Seagate 320. Everything was going well but then I realized that both OS's don’t fully recognize the second HDD. I installed Vista on this drive as per Boot Camp's instructions but, all I get is a "Untitled" Disk Drive icon in OS X and no recognition of a second HDD (the one that OS X is on) in Vista. Have I forgotten a setting or insanitation step?

Please help me if you can. I would like to be able to transfer files between the two OS's.

if you want to access files on your mac partition you will need 3rd party software such as macdrive since vista can't reat hfs format... in leopard you have read access from your ntfs vista partition but not write access... once again you need 3rd party software such as macfuse and ntfs3g... if you rename your drive from within windows it will no longer show up as untitled

Hi,

I'm using the Paragon's driver (Paragon NTFS for Mac OS X) in order to work with the Windows partitions under Mac OS (full read/write capabilities -- and you can permanently change the windows drive name in Mac OS), and the MacDrive vice versa. No problems so far.
