So, I've seen some people get unigine heaven to work properly on these m1 macs. Me and others however, have only a black screen during the test. Anyone's who has worked, how did you get it to work?

It works if you launch it with the "basic" preset
It’s due to anti-aliasing. For whatever reason, choosing 8xAA causes the M1 not to even try displaying graphics.

Anyway… That’s not why I revived this thread. :)

Despite no Apple Silicon/Metal native version yet (and me not obsessed with benchmark results), I did some reasonable comparisons. If you have an M1 Pro or M1 Max Mac and feel like adding to these, I’m curious to see.

Comparisons are by column:

@solouki How many core count GPU?

Not bad at all for lacking any optimization.

~3x faster than the 8-core M1 GPU
Seemingly at least equivalent to an AMD Radeon RX 570 and Nvidia GTX 1060.

When tessellation is turned off, the FPS and Score are higher (see earlier post for the case with Extreme Tessellation).

This is the M1 Max 10 cores, 32 GPU cores.
