How to get voice memos onto Mac

It looks like some voice memos have disappeared from my Mac so now I'm a bit wary of the new app. I have removed the iCloud syncing. What I want to do it to simply manually transfer the voice memos on my iPhone to the Mac but I can't see how, there is no import option on the Catalina voice memos app. And there is no voice memos tab when I plug the iPhone into the finder.

Try AirDrop. I just tried it and worked here.Hope this helps.

OK, I also discovered that I can drag and drop the file from the voice memo Mac app list to back up.
