I just bought a new Pro and all of my music is transferred but i want my purchased playlist. I have my iPad and its all synced to my new pro. I downloaded all of my music off of iCloud onto my iPad and my playlist appeared on my iPad. Can i get the playlist off of the iPad onto my iTunes?

Have you authorised your new mac with your current iTunes account so that all previously iTunes content can be downloaded to the iTunes app on the new mac?? (its in the store tab in iTunes and says authorise this computer). Hope this helps :)

that doesn't work. I want the actual playlist data. I have all of the songs already on my computer and authorized to play.

I think this might work.

1. Buy a new song on your pro. You should get a pop-up about the Purchase Music playlist.

2. Then do a sort on your library listing all of the "protected aac files" and "purchased aac files".

3. Select all of these files as they will be the ones that you got from the iTunes store.

4. Drag them onto the Purchased Music playlist.

Note - you may be able to skip step 1 if you already have an empty PUrchased Music playlist.
