I transfer my photos stored in a folder in the computer to iPhone via iTunes. The photos are numbered in sequence, so its a nice presentation in good sequence order. But after transferring to iPhone, the sequence of the photos became random. Is there anyway to get it in sequence? Same problem for iPad.

There's only one way and Apple makes sure it's as painful and tedious as possible.
The only way to reorganize the Camera Roll in the photos app is to duplicate each photo one by one in the order you want them to appear - then delete the original. The photos app's main purpose is to create grief. There's no way to sort by name, nor natively even see the file name. Anything copied over to the photos app instantly gets renamed by iOS to some generic number.jpg. All your carefully crafted names get deleted.
The iOS photos app (in my opinion) is the worst photo depository ever invented.
