Friends, have a good day!

I'm facing a dilemma...

I have a 24-inch, M1, 2021 iMac and I just bought two Dell U2723QE monitors, and I'm planning to order a third.

I have two questions.

  1. What is the best way to connect them to my iMac to have two external 4k, 60hz monitors?
  2. I know that the U2723QE supports up to 75 Hz. What can I do to get up to 75 Hz on at least one of them?
Please advise.

I have this monitor. According to the manual it can only do 75hz @ 1280 x 1024 and lower resolutions you want nothing to do it.

The iMac M1 only supports one external monitor. The dell u2723qe supports daisy chaining but the M1 does not so it's moot. There may be a workaround here

You can use a displaylink adapter (it needs to mention the word "displaylink" specifically, in the description somewhere), that uses software to render the content instead of actual graphics hardware, there are some limitations with that approach. You won't get the performance of the Mac's M1 graphics hardware, and certain features like color profiles won't work. For dual, triple or even quadruple displays there are Macs that can do it (M2 Mini, Studio, depends on configuration) in hardware with the full performance and features, the iMac unfortunately only does one additional external display natively.
