My iPhone 6s (ios11.4.1.) is at 81% of battery health after 2 years of use. Is 81% considered bad? Can I do something to improve it?

You've pretty much achieved full lifetime usage (~80% of design capacity) of the battery in 2 years, I'd say that's pretty good. Some will get better, others will get worse. It all depends on the battery you got at the outset and how you use and charge your battery.

I would get the battery replaced for $29 by Apple while you still can.

81% in 2 years time is quite good actually. I would bump on Minho's advice and get your battery replaced while it's still cheap.

my iphone6 is at 80% battery health after 2 years. is it time to replace the battery?

at what % battery health do people typically replace their batteries for iphone6?

80% is a lot! Why do you people pay to change the battery when it's only lost 20% of its capacity? It's nuts IMO.

A lithium ion battery is considered at the end of its useful life once it hits 80% capacity. That’s just how they work.

Isn’t it $29 to replace? Not too bad if you’re going to keep the iPhone around for a few more years. Especially since the cost goes back up on January.

And to the OP, get it replaced.
