Not a paid developer, but they made them free to everyone this year. Was a piece of cake on my iPhone, iPad, and Watch but the option to choose the developer beta just refuses to show up in Software Update settings on my Mac (M2 Pro 14"). Is there some different process I'm supposed to follow?

UPDATE: I'm an idiot. Just checked the Developer site and it specifically says to get it in System Settings you need to be on 13.4. I'm on 13.3 still.

Have you ever tried this? I was on Ventura 13.4 and did this....

and viola! Just installed MacOS Sonoma a hour ago on a Mac mini 2018!

That was so easy - no need going to the Developer's website at all.

I restored a MacBook Pro M1 successfully using Apple Configurator with the image provided at the Developer website (UniversalMac_14.0_23A5257q_Restore.ipsw). The configurator warned that a software update was needed, which it was unable to download, but I went ahead with the restore anyway and had no issues.
