MP 1,1-5,1 How to install El Capitan

After long hours I'm finding that I have a lowly 1.1 not the3.1 I had thought. It meets standards for El Capitan, but the installer reports that it can't be installed. I've not tried any other OS yet.

El Capitan can not be installed natively on a MP1,1 .
There is/was a patched version available that works.

There was no dosdude Patcher for El Cap

its rather easy, just editing a plist and swapping two efi files.

As written, the easiest way is to install it on a supported machine and put the disk in a 1.1
