Hello,

I want to install Railroad Tycoon 3 on our kids 12" iBook. When I try to install under their user it will not install. When I try to install under our (Admin) login all is well. However I do not know where to put the folder so we can "see/use" it inder the kids login. Is there a better way to do this or am I being a bit dense about it?
Thanks for the help!

Under most cases a standard user an run an application just fine from /Applications.

There shouldn't be a problem running a game.

Sorry I should have tried it first. I was paranoid based on crap experience with the same issue when on Windows.
Thanks again.
Installing something into /Applications and running an application from it are two different things.

For a game a standard user is fine to run it.
