how to install r6v2 on a mac using crossover games?

I don't see that game listed on their website, your best bet is to do some research (i.e. Google). As far as getting the full version for free, I suppose you could use somebody else's credit card. You're not paying for it either way, and that's just about as legal as any other method you're probably looking for.
It will run But you'll need to create a new bottle and do a manual install by the sound of it. As for a free version, there is only the trial which will deactivate after 30 days unless you pay.

As for a free version of Crossover games. Give it a try for 30 days, if you like, then support them by buying it.
Seems like it has a few issues, and no need to do a manual install, just an express.

Here is how to install (hopefully)
First download the crack for R6V2.
1) Open up Crossover Games and click on Install Software and a New Window will appear.
2) Click on Install Unsupported Software... and Click Continue.
3) Click on New Bottle and Continue.
4) Make sure Choose Installer File is highlighted in bold and click Install.
5) A new window will appear. In this you will choose the R6V2 setup file, which should be called setup.exe. If not, then I'm sure you can just click on autorun.exe. (No idea on the name, i don't have the game.)
6) Install the game like on normal windows.
Right, the tricky part is finding the bottle and installing the crack to make it work.
Go into your Finder and make sure you're in your user directory.
Click on Library > Application Support > Crossover Games > Bottles > ( click on the name you designated for your bottle e.g. R6V2) > drive_c > Program Files > ubisoft (guessing from this point) > R6V2.
Once in that folder, hopefully you can find where to place the cracked file, and overwrite the original.
Right, as the site states, you need to open up R6VEGAS_GAME.EXE and not R6VEGAS_LAUNCHER.EXE.
