I use an alias email in iCloud to hide my email for some mailing lists. But I cannot see images from emails received this way. Is there no way to load remote images in emails received via hide my email? Is this a bug?

The thing about images in emails is that the image you're loading can be a specific one placed there just to see if you and you alone access it…giving away the fact that you have accessed it and also giving away any of the available IP information associated with your accessing it.

Having said that I don't use iCloud to hide my email so I don't know how it works…or if the images not loading for you is because of what I just said.

To illustrate the thing, when I got an email using my hide my email account I see this:

while normally I am able to choose to load the images if I want to:
