I have an old iMac running iTunes 10.7.5 /iTunes 12.2, and a newer iMac I just upgraded to Mojave with iTunes 12.9. On the older Mac, my iTunes library contains all of my CD collection that I burned onto it some years ago.

I've never been able to seen my CD collection on my newer iMac, and thought once I upgraded the OS, it would magically appear, but no such luck. I've read, but don't understand, it may be an issue that cannot be resolved given some differences between the older and newer versions of iTunes.

I'm wondering if there's a way to sync via iCloud, or will I have to burn them again to the newer iMac. I would try moving them to Dropbox from the old Mac, but I think 10.7 is too old to support Dropbox.

All input is appreciated.

tks,

To your headline question: Right-click any file in iTunes and select "Show in Finder". Alternatively, if you've told iTunes to copy music to its library automatically, everything is in ~/Music/iTunes/.

What you are asking for requires iTunes Match, which is a payed service. Music doesn't sync automagically. Your old OS X does support the newest iTunes, in which you can buy that service.

You can log onto the Dropbox website, regardless of OS X version, and upload the files that way. Just do a single ZIP file of everything, to make it easy.

Yes, iTunes set to copy to library. I'll go the Dropbox route and call it a day.

Thanks for the response!
