iOS how to make a button to take a screenshot in app

Hi I have developed a simple app
that i can put text over an image.

I was looking for a way to add a button and make it take a screenshot of part of the screen and it saves to camera roll? the screen will be a UIImage view with a label that is text over it.

has any one dealt with this?

I have read a little about QuartzCore
but do not know how to implement correctly.
