Does anyone know how I can take a screenshot of the application switcher?
The one appearing when I press command plus tabulator.

You mean like this...
Use the built in "Grab" application with its "timed" function.

Thanks, I thought about that too, but I wanted it to shoot without any other elements to get a PNG with alpha like when I shoot the Dock and other elements.

I was able to do it in Tiger or Leopard if my old memory does not betray me.
